TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and
conditions ("Terms and Conditions") govern the use of

(the "Site"). This Site is operated by the Knights of
Columbus, KIND Charities of Tennessee.
By using this Site, you
indicate that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions
and agree to always abide by them.
Intellectual
Property
All
content published and made available on our Site is the property of
Knights of Columbus, KIND Charities of Tennessee, and the Site's
creators. Contents include, but are not limited to, images, text,
logos, documents, downloadable files, and anything that contributes
to the composition of our Site.
Age
Restrictions
The
minimum age to participate and use our Site is 21 years old. By using
this Site, users agree that they are over 21 years old. We do not
assume any legal responsibility for false statements about age.
Sale of
Goods
These
Terms and Conditions govern the sale of goods available on our Site.
The following goods are available on our Site:
50/50 Raffle Game Tickets.
Tickets are only available for purchase via the Site. You agree to purchase goods from our Site at your own discretion.
Ticket confirmations will be emailed after purchase. Check your spam folder for confirmation if you have not received it.
Pricing
Raffle tickets are priced at ten dollars ($10) apiece.
There will be a fifty-cent ($0.50) website admin fee applied to each transaction.
Payments
We accept the following payment methods on our Site:
Credit card @ Stripe $10 per ticket plus Admin fee 50cents per transaction
Or Send a check to KofC 3832-- P.O. Box 126, Alcoa, TN 37701 Subject: Kind Raffle. Memo: “Kind Raffle” Total is $10 per ticket plus a $0.50 admin fee per check. Please include your name, Address, Phone Number, and email address. Ticket number(s) will be emailed to you once the check is cleared. Optional: Add your Knights of Columbus Council Number and indicate if you prefer to be anonymous if you win. If there is no mention, your tickets will be marked as not anonymous.
When you provide us with your payment information, you authorize our use of and access to the payment instrument you have chosen to use. By providing us with your payment information, you authorize us to charge the amount due to this payment instrument.
Refunds
All sales are final. No refunds or cancellations will be accepted.
Raffle Timeline & Winner Selection
Ticket sales begin on July 20, 2025, and all sales end on October 18, 2025.
The winners will be selected at the conclusion of ticket sales, at a date to be determined, in October 2025. Winners will be selected though a physical lottery drawing, overseen by the KIND Charities of Tennessee Board of Directors. The drawing will take place at a KIND Charities Gala, hosted by sponsor Knights of Columbus Council 3832, Alcoa. It is not required for winners to be present at the time of drawing. Specific Gala details will be communicated by KIND Charities at a future date.
Prize Disbursement
The prize pool for the raffle will be determined based on total ticket sale revenue collected, and the prize pool will equal fifty percent (50%) of all monies collected. The award breakdown is as follows:
First Prize: Thirty-five percent (35%) of total ticket sales revenue
Second Prize: Ten percent (10%) of total ticket sales revenue
Third Prize: Five percent (5%) of total ticket sales revenue
Dispute
Resolution
All
disputes will be settled by the Knights of Columbus, KIND
Charities of Tennessee Board of Directors. All decisions by the Board
of Directors will be final and not subject to appeal.
All disputes or questions regarding the results of the raffle must be submitted to the Secretary of the KIND Charities Board of Directors at scommkc@att.net by November 7, 2025.
Prior Approvals
The Tennessee State Legislature and the Knights of Columbus Tennessee State Council have approved this 50/50 raffle.
Charitable Cause
At least thirty-five percent (35%) of the total ticket sale revenue collected will directly support the charitable donations and initiatives of KIND Charities of Tennessee.
** The Knights of Columbus, KIND Charities of Tennessee, provide financial assistance and services to those with intellectual disabilities through appropriate 501(c)(3) organizations, by the statewide fundraising efforts of volunteers at Knights of Columbus councils.
Tennessee Knights of Columbus Councils have the opportunity to receive seven and a half percent (7.5%) donation of each ticket sold, if the council number or parish name is entered on the order form at the time of submission. Council payments will be made at the conclusion of ticket sales.
A seven and a half percent (7.5%) donation will be made to the host Council 3832, Alcoa, to support the KIND Charities 50/50 Raffle Gala and any costs incurred.
Indemnity
Except
where prohibited by law, by using this Site you indemnify and hold
harmless The Knights of Columbus, KIND Charities of Tennessee and our
Board of Directors and members from any actions, claims, losses,
damages, liabilities and expenses, including legal fees arising out
of your use of our Site or your violation of these Terms and
Conditions.
Applicable
Law
These
Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of
Tennessee.
